Coaching with Jo

About Jo

My Story
I spent over 20 years in brand marketing and reached CMO level.
I’ve mentored teams of marketers and creatives, presented strategy in boardrooms, led businesses through crises and developed award winning creative campaigns, with some brilliant neurodivergent and neurotypical brains around me.

I found out about my ADHD later in life, after a long corporate career, and suddenly so many of my strengths and challenges made more sense.
Working with coaches changed my own career. They helped shine a light on my blind spots and my talents, and now I want to do the same for other people.

I still work in brand strategy, so I haven’t forgotten what a corporate diary feels like.

Why Me
- I've been in the boardroom. I reached CMO level, so I know corporate life from the inside.
- I've sat on both sides of the table. I've led teams, so I can coach the person and talk to their employer.
- Strengths first. I build on what already works instead of trying to fix what's "wrong".
- I'm a neurodiversity advocate. I speak up for this community in public as well as in sessions.
- Qualified. Centre of Excellence ADHD Coaching Diploma and TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism.

Who I work with
I work with people in corporate jobs who are good at what they do and tired of how much effort it takes.
You might recognise some of this:
- You’re the person people ask when it needs doing fast or with a level of attention most can’t sustain.
- Your brain is an ideas factory – one word can spark an intense journey of creativity while the rest of the room is still at the start line.
- Time doesn’t work in the same way for you – it’s either now or not now, things take way longer than you expected and you’re either way too early or too late.
- You can hold a boardroom captivated, then lose forty minutes to one email you can’t start.
- You prepare twice as hard as everyone else, then have nothing left by Friday night.
- You vacillate between hyperfocus and paralysis and can’t fathom why you can’t start something until the very last minute.
- People keep telling you how much potential you have. You’d like it to feel less like hard graft.

Plus many many other ways that your brain works differently to those around you. ADHD shows up differently for everyone and that’s what we’ll explore – how it fuels and impacts you and how we can help you have balance and success on your terms.

Working with me

1) Let's start with a free 20-minute call. We talk about what’s going on and what you’d like to change. You decide afterwards whether you want to go ahead.

2) Coaching sessions. Online or in person (London) sessions of 60 minutes every two weeks, or two hours every month, built around your goals and the way your brain works. You leave each session with something specific to try before the next one.

3) Between sessions. A short check-in message or 20 minute call between sessions.

The DARTmind Method
Most ADHD support starts with what’s going wrong. I’d rather start with what’s going right.
DART stands for Dynamic Attention, Rapid Thinking. It’s how I describe ADHD brains: quick, curious and full of ideas.
The DARTmind Method uses those strengths to find a way through the parts of work that feel hard, so you can build real momentum towards the things that matter to you.
No two ADHD brains are the same. So we don’t start with a list of strengths you’re supposed to have. We find yours.

Is your employer paying?
Many organisations fund coaching as a workplace adjustment.
I can send your HR team a full guide to how the DARTmind Method works, what it costs and how we measure progress.

The DART Journal
Working with me, you’ll receive a complemental copy of The DART Journal - a daily planner I designed for exactly that kind of brain.
Each day has a double-page spread to help you choose what matters, plan around your energy and notice what’s working, plus a thought bank at the back for the lines that keep you going.
You can use it on its own or alongside coaching, so the ideas from our sessions carry on into your week.
